Saturday Scores (Late Edition)

Sorry for the late scores. Went to the Rutgers football game tonight. In the words of Forrest Gump, "that's all I got to say about that."

A Central
Red Bank 1, Homdel 0 (OT) - (RBR) Doherty GWG in 83rd.

A South
#7 TR South 4, #3 TR East 2 - (TRS) Martin 2 G; (TRE) Zeller 2 G. (Good God, A South is killing me. If TR North was healthy, this would be a five-team race).

B North
Long Branch 2, Wall 1 - (LB) Monsalve GWG in 80th.
Matawan 1, Freehold 1.

Non-conference
Lawrence 7, Jackson Lib. 1

Matt- I think you should add Roberto Novoa to the All Shore team

He's in the mix. Of the midfielders I put on the preliminary team, who should be left off?

To be fair to Roberto Novoa he is playing Midfield for the first time (His normal position is Striker) He was put in the Midfield to give him more space (So far so good) I would look to remove Andrew Smith (Sorry). I also like two midfielders from Shore Conner Mckenzie 5 and Taylor Scarpino 12 (Not saying they should be on first team but def Second) Taylor is probablly one of the best defensive midfielders I have seen (No one gets by this kid) Ask the Rumson coach everything was being sent up the right side to stay away from him. Connor is someone can move the ball and score goals.

shore should not have anyone on 1st team all shore. they play in a very weak division. i think you should see how they do in the shore conf tour first...also i know gorskie is a good player but his team is terrible this year. why would you on him on there over a kid whos also having a good year and his team is winning. dont think that fair

These kids you are naming from shore are good but not that good. Smith from Brick is better than all those kids from shore. And like the guy above me said b central is the weakest division. congrats on beating teams like asbury and mater dei

Im not denying that he is a good player and yes that is a nice goal but lets get real here. Shore plays in a very weak division where there are basically 6 given wins each year. The level of competition is nowhere near that of a north or a south. Say all you want but until you beat some good teams, ur not gonna get any respect

i think B Central in being under looked at. Clearly RFH is capable of playing with some of the big name teams espeically since they beat Raritan, Wall, RBR and they are ranked in the Top 10. I also think Sean Pahler should be in the mix for being on the all-shore team

You say that Shore plays in a weak division yet you want to put a player on the All shore team that plays for a terrible team- That doesnt make an sense

I guess Brick is a terrible team. They play in a tough a south and have beaten top teams. Is it true shore lost to raritan today?
