Freehold Township is the most confusing and inconsistant team in the Shore for the second year in a row. Last year they were struggling around .500 and then exploded on the scene at the end of the year with a big performance at Howell, a blowout of Mon Don in the SCT and a run in states.
This year they have shown their ceiling is probably as high as anyone with Noesges leading the attack and Smith shutting down top attackers. However, despite having the biggest wins in the Shore (apart from Howell) they have these bad losses and are now looking like a middle seed who will have to upset teams instead of a favorite.
TRE-Jackson is certainly the game of the day tommorrow, but the Manalapan-FT matchup with Quintano v. Smith and Rice v. Noesges should be just as good. It may not settle a division, or even SCT seeding, but it will answer some All-Shore questions.
