#7 Toms River South 5, #26 Raritan 1: Toms River South scored the last five goals of the game and cruised to a first-round victory over Raritan. Andrew Leissing scored the second and fourth goals for the Indians, and Nick Tagliavia came off the bench to score the game-tying goal in the 23rd minute and assisted Leissing's game-winning header with a long throw-in in the 30th.
Bill Voutsinas scored 2:14 into the game on a counter-attack, beating a defender, then goalkeeper Brian Chrashewsky to the left side of the net for a 1-0 lead. Raritan had an opportunity to make it 2-0 in the 11th, but Chrashewsky made a diving save on a clean shot by Dan Della Pietro.

How many goals/assists for Martin?
I added the box to the post if you want to know more details. I'll do my best to do that on other SCT and State days, but today was easy with just one game.
Different than Ocean County Observer, which is correct?
individual stats that important...thought it was a team sport
Where was Ian Martin?
So Matt, you've been kind of lukewarm on South so far this season. What's you opinion of their offense and defense now that you've seen them play? Are Martin and Leissing their only assets?
How do you know he was at the game because his article in the paper did not lead me to believe he was watching the same game I was.
I thought I saw him at the game standing on the sidelines with a pad and pen. What do you think was so wrong with his article?
