How do you know he was at the game because his article in the paper did not lead me to believe he was watching the same game I was.

Manasquan defeated TRH. The Referees did a horrible job. Someone from Manasquan had to be taken out of the game and had to recieve stitches. He cut the area around his eye on a play, and no booking was given. Jeff Algor was thrown to the ground, no yellow card, Moises Igunez accidenatlly trips a player form TRH, and gets a yellow card. Ben Tumas recieved a yellow card for trying to get position and head the ball, then while he was trying to get up, a player from TRH pushed him back down on the ground. And Tumas recieved the yellow. Absolutley horrible officiating.

Hey Manasquan stop crying. Welcome to A-South. If you plan on going any further you better expect plenty of physical play. Congrats on the win though..a solid win at that.

No offense to Lakewood but Monmouth having to go in OT against them really shows how weak a schedule they play. This should lessen the integrity of Mackin's stats. He would have never put up numbers close to Martin or Gorskie if he played the caliber of schedule they play

Mackin was fouled 27 times during the lakewood game, and has been double teamed all year.

really??? How many times did he play against defenses like Manalapan, Howell, CBA, TRE, Jackson? Big deal, he was double teamed by players on less than average squads. By the way Shore just got thumped 5-1 by Freehold Twp. I guess we don't have to listen to them anymore. When that happens none of your players belong on the All Shore team. I knew there was a difference between the A- North and A-South schools, but not one this big. The only one that can make an arguement now is Manasquan.

Shore fell apart in the last six minutes of the game. Congrats Freehold. Shore chins up.

Not a big difference in divisions. Shore Score does not represent what happened on the field. As far as All Shore Teams I would take Novoa and Scarpino anytime.

doesn't matter if it was the first six minutes, middle six minutes or last six minutes. Shore still got blown out. Last I checked it was the whole 80mins that mattered. Shore had a good season, and may do well in thier group but they are not among the elite teams in the shore. All year long all I saw posted was how good this kid and this kid is on shore. If they were that good it would not have been a 5-1 game..end of story.

Not much difference???When the fourth place team of one division beats the second place team of another division 5-1..I think that displays a major difference too. I agree with the other comment. Now it is up to Rumson to save some face for that division

Shore Freehold Game- Again Score doesnt represent what happened you should have went to the game. As far as the Two kids mentioned- Freehold had its hands full with these two players until one went off with an injury. Freehold capitalized on mistakes- which is always part of the game and Freehold deserved to win

Shore played tough and did control a lot of the first half, but to say Freehold had "their hands full" with anyone from Shore is overblowing the situation.

It is true the FT mid and D had a rough first half (Noesges and Smith specifically could not get it going) but Shore never really had a dangerous chance other than maybe a corner kick or two. I don't think there was ever a doubt who the best team on the field was. Once FT started springing Composto free and moved Searby to forward, the game was clearly over.

5-1 doesn't necessarily give Shore the credit they deserve, but the fact is the better team won and if the FT goalie had stayed awake for 10 seconds after a kickoff, the game would have been a shutout.

Yes there was some doubt who the best team on the field was up until the 72nd Min. FT deserved the win- they did step it up. FT scored the 3rd goal and Shore gave up (Late in the Game). I was at the game- when Shore player (12) came off the field FT took advantage of that side. If you didnt see it you no nothing about soccer. FT goodluck against Mon Don

I am a Freehold parent and I wanted to send kudos to number 2 and 12 for Shore-They both left it all on the Field. Go Patriots.
